Do you have any experience when it comes to bug-testing:

How knowledgeable would you say you are when it comes to Runescape/Oldschool Runescape: Pretty. I have maxed twice on OSRS. Currently doing a third run but taking a bit of a break from it atm.

How do you feel you'd be useful in testing Zaros: How many hours do you plan on spending per week on average testing: Probably about 12-14 hours per day. 5 to 6 days a week.

You missed pking, if we get more people into it, more people would be in the wild

I don't think there will be many PKing Guides seeing how OSRS has a very basic combat system :L

Personally I find it easier with the 2 specific sub-categories and the main category that could house the other more miscellaneous guides. At least I know for sure if I'm looking for a skill guide then I'll find it and a PVM guide I'll find it and all else will be under the general guide category. I can't imagine that there will be such a crazy amount of guides that we will need to branch out.

I'd love to see ALL guides come with some kind of video component but of course I wouldn't ask that to be a requirement because not everybody has the appropriate set-up to do that.

I heavily support keeping the appropriate guides highlighted and pinned like the clue scroll guide when it comes out, raids guides, those kind of common ones because we know that people are going to be going for those the most! ?

If you look at other servers that have lasted for about a year with higher player count you'll notice that almost all sections have 2-3 pages or more. The problem is that people don't always comment on the guide that they are using or like, meaning that a really detailed and structured guide can be at page 7. With more sections, we will ensure that it is easier to find guides for those that are looking after them. Isn't that the whole point of having sub-categories?

  4. I don't mean to be rude, or come off as negative but a directory are useless for sections like these. The section is already a directory as it is divided into PvM & Skilling. I think that the staff should even add additional sections for guides, to make it even easier for navigation. Then once the server has launched they can introduce golden/gilded guides which are pinned to the top. This allows players to quickly see the most informative and structured guides at the very top, while also allowing them to navigate to the guide category of their desires. E.g. Guides -> Money Making Guides -> Top Money Making Methods. Easy does it!

Feel free to read more about it in my suggestions by clicking on the following link: https://forum.zaros.io/forum/19-suggestions/

    Cheers

  5. Hello everyone,

I believe it would be a great idea to expand the guides section by adding more sub-categories. Examples could be Money Making Guides, Minigame Guides, Forum Guides and Miscellaneous Guides. With time there could be an even greater expansion to include e.g. Quest Guides, Video Guides and more. I also believe it would be a great idea to add some sort of pinned (Gilded/Golden?) guides that features the most detailed and structured guides.

The server has a custom feature already called "Slayer caskets"; they drop semi-frequently based on the level of your slayer monster and contain GP, Herbs, Clues, and Gems.

Do they apply to ironmen too, or is it just a feature for casual accounts?

I love the design. However, If they could release a black version of it, I'd be all over it. I'd only buy it to play the exclusives since I play everything on my PC but I need the console to go with my theme and having it all white doesn't cut it. The design itself, I'm in love... Someone had done fan art and created a spider-man edition which was black with red trim, looks amazing. I'd snag that real quick.

I'm pretty sure that once the Playstation 5 is released to the public, it will come out in different colors. As far as I know, the Playstation 4 came with different colors on release as well, such as white, black, pink and red. Perhaps a few others too.

I mean it's a bit soon, to be requesting guides but sure my list

    1. The gauntlet
    2. Zulcano
    3. Theatre of blood
    4. Chambers of xeric (Solo)

Just some of em will require time before even getting added. The difference is that OSRS and ZAROS are quite simular but yet apart from eachother. So there might be certain mechanics that doesn't work or isn't as how it's supposed to be. Hence why the comment ''it's a bit soon''

Thanks for the list. I totally agree with you. However, it is still nice to have a clue of what the players want even before the server is out. This allows you to speculate and learn the mechanics of the guide (E.g. Inferno) before the server is out. That way you don't have to spend too much time on the basics once the server is out ?

  9. Hello everyone,

One personal hobby of mine is to write guides and help out others in their own adventure. However, this topic is not just for me but for all other members who tend to create guides. So the question that we have is, what is your most requested guide? Feel free to make a list down below.

    Here is my own list;

    1. Construction
    2. Chambers of Xerics
    3. The Inferno
  10. As a long time Playstation user, my opinion may be biased. However, I think that the new design of the Playstation hardware actually looks quite appealing. It comes with a great design that allows for both vertical and horizontal placement. It is somewhat similar to the Playstation 4 in terms out input and output management but from my own perspective I believe that it has a more modern and futuristic-type look in comparison to the first Playstation 4 that was released back in 2013. Persnoally, I will more than likely purchase it right away when it enters the market. Not only because I'm a fan of the design and the hardware, but also because of the games that will come out such as Horizon Zero Dawn 2.
