  2. Hello and welcome to this weekend's DDS Tournament! This event will be the second event on Friday, starting at approximately 19:30 server time. In this event, all participants will compete in a bracket-based tournament. For this event, we require you to sign up here by replying to this thread with your in-game username that you will be competing on. THERE WILL BE NO LATE ENTRIES ACCEPTED, SIGNUPS WILL BE CLOSED AT 17:30 SERVER TIME FRIDAY, 2 HOURS BEFORE THE EVENT STARTS. All you need to do is be online and ready at ::duel when the event is about to begin. Format:For this event, once participants have signed up and sign ups are closed, players will be split into multiple brackets, dependent on the number of staff hosts. Each of these brackets will be run by staff members in different locations. These brackets will play out to the top 3, at which point the top 3 of each bracket will be seeded into "The Finals" to compete for prices. The top 3 winners of the individual brackets do not necessarily receive prizes, only the top 3 winners in the finals. How It Works: Two players will be called upon to face off and begin a duel with each other. The duel must take place in front of a staff member; if there is no staff directly beside you to observe the duel, it will not be counted. Staff will be responsible to be in the duel arena at the time of the event and call out the names of opponents and watch their match. These brackets will not be made public so that players are not able to duel their partner ahead of time; you will have your names called by staff of who you are to duel and it is the players' responsibility to challenge the other to the duel. If you win, you move on. If you lose, you are eliminated from the bracket. Any player who uses any weapon besides a DDS or eats any food during the duel will be disqualified, regardless of what settings were selected. Example Preset: Prizes: 1st - 300 Donator Tokens + 1 Mystery Box 2nd - 200 Donator Tokens 3rd - 100 Donator Tokens Thanks for reading and good luck to everybody to takes part in the event! I don't support some of these such as the "Donator rank transfer" stuff because if you decided to invest that $ into that HCIM or w/e acc, and it died, you should not be able to simply swap that over to a new account. However having said that, 90% of these suggestions are super good and I would certainly be happy to see them make their way into Zaros, especially because we're always trying to make the donator benefits better and fair to their own ranks.
  4. I agree with your suggestions to improve the wilderness activity, and I strongly agree about Theatre of Blood being soloable because we had it like that on Ikov and it ran smoothly. Keep in mind, in solos if you mess up even once and die, you're completely eliminated and it does not matter whether you died at the last room or the first. This is why, no one should be able to complain that "ToB was never meant to be soloable" or whatever because a player who attempts to solo it is taking a big risk and investing a lot of time, and should be appropriately rewarded. It sucks not being able to do ToB as often because you can't find people, there's literally the same 5-10 people doing ToB daily meanwhile I can confidentially say that the number of people doing CoX daily is higher than x10 of that amount.

  6. How will the server get nearly as many donations to be able to afford: Advertisement, hosting costs, websites, developer salaries, etc, without gambling being a factor? These things cost a lot of money, and the only reason the server can run is due to donations. I can arguably say that gambling increases the donations for the server by a percentage of at least 50% and most likely much higher. This suggestion will never be approved.

  10. Support. There's currently no gloves on the Custom Items list and I don't think there will be anytime soon. I don't see any negatives with this suggestion.
  11. Making suggestions on the forums is better than speaking to the developers directly for these because I need the community's opinion on these changes as well, and that's just as important as my own opinion.

Quality Of Life Achievement Store/Slayer Store: Clicking "Value" should give information on what the item does/it's features Timer under the bonus xp book image to indicate an ESTIMATE of when the bonus xp will end World Switcher Fixed/Proper functionionality PvP zone needs to be added where protect item does not work (Risk Fights) ::staff command should display ALL staff members with (World _) indicator beside staff member's name rather than only displaying the staff members in the current world Repeat transactions in Trading Post via History Low benefit money sinks (Well of Goodwill for 5-10% server-wide XP boost) Server-wide announcement when a player achieves Legendary Donator or Uber Donator rank Name change vouchers should be added in the Donator Store Private-message chatbox should not be forced closed by opening a different interface (for example opening bank) Ability to change home teleport location and/or death location (if not already in game), and/or ability to change "home teleport" button to any teleport you'd like by going into the teleport menu and clicking a button or right clicking the teleport and "Set as home" or something? Pressing space bar while speaking with an NPC/Chatbox Interface should not choose an option, it should be like OSRS where it only skips dialogue, but doesn't choose any option. When getting a preset, if you're missing a (4) of a potion, it should try and find the next available dose (3)..(2)..etc. ๐Ÿ˜„ The announcements for drops should be global for World 1 and World 2, so if someone gets a Twisted Bow drop on World 1, that should be announced for the World 2 players too. You'll get PJed by opponent's clan mates and gang-banged lol. PJ system needs to be improved and changed to the Deadman pj system. This system makes it very difficult for solo pkers to even enjoy/make money PKing deep wilderness. Legendary/Uber donator benefits not quite matching their $ value Hiscores still look ugly and could be updated to include PvP stats, LMS stats, Raids stats I have a lot of "increase the chance of..." suggestions above because in most of those skill related things, you can't even get 1 item of that skilling gear set during 1-99 on average and that is A PROBLEM in my opinion.

  14. Getting a $1000 or a $5000 donator rank is a very impressive feat, and it would make it even better if it was announced server-wide when a player becomes a Legendary Donator or an Uber Donator. I suggested this on a past server as well and it had no issue passing, I don't see why we currently don't have such a system in place on here. E.g: "X has become a Legendary Donator!" or something similar to that.
  15. @Fergus I also had similar suggestions for LMS, here's my opinion: LMS has a lot of flaws atm in its current state, and I can tell you these flaws in detail because I probably have one of the most wins in the game currently and clearly have a lot of experience regarding the matter, not to mention I was rank #25 on OSRS in LMS when I played OSRS. Pj timers still need to be increased by atleast 5 seconds so you're given proper time to fix inventory/open key and will have no disadvantage in a 3 people left situation where you kill your opponent and the third player starts attacking you while you are fixing up inventory. People can still take 98 damage from one player, freeze the player and dd under, attack a different player and get hit once and the key goes to the final damage player rather than the most damage player. BROKEN. Spawns are still a joke in LMS, you can have an even number of players like 8/8 10/10 and sometimes still spawn far away alone from the person you should be fighting. On OSRS, you get "Bloodier Key" which is basically the key that gives OP loot like vlses, dclaws, swh, etc, only when there's 5 or less people alive and that makes sense. You don't want to hand out such OP weps on first kills when everyone's in black dhide/mystic, yet atm on Zaros, it's the other way around. You are given a bloodier key when there's >5 people alive and a normal Bloody key when there's <= 5 people, most likely a bug, but it needs to be fixed. Currently, it's more benefical to get a kill in the beginning rather than towards the end. The LMS shop is so ass, no wonder why it's not as popular as it has the potential to be. I seriously have to spend like 30 points on some bs paints that I can buy from trading post for 50k ea? Arrows/runes? Makes sense for ironmen but not really for regular players to literally spend 15+ minutes per game on getting shit loot like that. On OSRS, atleast you can get VLS and I think you should be able to get PVP items such as that from the LMS shop, or atleast other better upgrades. Why tf would I grind hours to buy an ugly cosmetic outfit for 450 LMS points? Keep in mind, an average game of LMS will last 15 minutes... And it would take you 5 matches where you literally have to WIN ALL of them in order to have 30 points so you can buy yourself a Dark bow paint? That's 1 hr 15 min, and that too if assuming you win all of the matches... The ping as you mentioned is kind of ass in LMS. Item switching feels slower, it's hard to 1tick dds from a regular non-special attack weapon, sometimes prayers feel a little delayed. These things affect the combat in a very major way and should indeed be improved on to make LMS as enjoyable as it holds the potential to be. Currently, the "Rank" system in LMS does not work. I think that would also be a cool addition to have.
  16. Most of the current wilderness events simply cater to clans and it kind of sucks for solo pkers like myself. I can't do ancient caskets because I'll get fucked by 20+ members, and I can't do Galvek for the same reason. I can't have fun nh pking deep wilderness because I will get PJed and clan banged due to the pj timers which is same as OSRS but since our population is way lower, would be nice if it got switched to DMM pj timers where if you're in combat, you cannot be PJed. Something like this would be huge for single PKers and would make us be more active in those areas, but this is indeed a debatable topic. I can't pk at edge because it's dead, and as you said, the supplies cost is a lot. Maybe add better changes to make it profittable so people can actually make more $/h than doing basic things like thieving or basic bosses compared to PKing at edge.
