Leniency on yell flame/spam

No hate to any staff in particular but yell has been super annoying lately. I don't mind a little pvp banter over yell but when there is multiple people starting a flame war in yell it's just a giant wall of spam. Despite me finding these situations on yell mad annoying it's not going to make me quit but it no doubt gives a bad impression to some players. Please quit giving these players so many warnings to stop and just revoke their yell ability for x amount of time.

I agree with this. The banter is so often and even though they do get yell muted for a while, they come back the next day and start the same issue. Would like to see harsher punishments or extended yell mutes for those constantly and consistently disrupting the peace of the server with the toxic pking banter. Same players get mutes so often and don't care because they know all they have to do is wait a few hours.

Would love to see a way that server supports can also help with toxicity in yell as sometimes warnings don't do anything and when there are other active moderators the yell flame just continues on and on. +1 for harsher punishments for repeat offenders.

100% agree on this. Its multiple times, every day, with the same group of individuals. It's really never ending and as a server owner, that's the LAST thing I would want a newcomer to see, is just a giant flame war going on for hours over yell. Revoke their ability to yell for extended amounts of time. You already know who it is that is involved, incorporate it into the rules.

  • 2 weeks later...

As you might know, we've recently been changing our lenient attitude towards recurring flamers/trollers.

It needed to be done, and I'm confident we will see a decrease of toxicity on yell.

Feel free to help out our staff team with reports if no staff is around to witness the toxicity.

Good feedback 🙂

From what I've seen in the last week, things seem better already.

Kudos to the staff team, keep it up!
