Vesta Spear at Corp

allow vesta spear to be used at corp, at the start of the server it was restricted to avoid crashing zammy spear price but it's already 10m and dropping, allow us to use vesta spear there and it'll give the weapon an actual use because currently it LITERALLY has ZERO use.. this will also incentivise people to go to galvek more often (it's already dead and nobody kills it) .. this is literally a win win and there's 0 negatives.

I agree, anyways spears is used to be turned into hasta for dragon hunter lance, so i dont see why not making vesta spears bis for corp. Galvek currently only have 1 good item on drop table

There is literal no reason to go to Galvek other than to stand on the necks of other teams on this server, the drops were 'fine' for the first day or so.. but over a week in 5 superior dragonbones and items that can only be used inside a dead wilderness doesn't cut it. Support.

No support, all PvP weapons are overpowered and were limited in OSRS to DMM, and VLS to BH world for a good reason.

Also, there isn't a single person outside of Efficient or BN who would support this, because either clan is gatekeeping Galvek with numbers, which is why you'll see nothing but those members support this thread aswell.

+1 No support. Same reasons stated by November. PVP weapons have no use other for being used for exactly that, PVP.  Z spear's should remain the meta, and to keep the OSRS feel.

No, they were limited there because little noobs like you try to control the polls and hate any sort of update that benefits pvp. 

Literally makes no sense that it can't be used at Corp. It's extremely rare and the current method of getting it is waaaay harder than getting a hasta. It has 0 use currently, give it one.

Try and look past the selfish reason as “only clans can kill galvek” this is by no means a thread to help my team it’s literally a game changing update and if you can’t see that you’re blind.. this update would help improve wilderness activity and give a useless item a use  

 

also you saying “all pvp weapons are overpowered” is just not true at all.. I can honestly say the only good one is vls, sure vesta spear will be better than zammy spear but why shouldn’t it be? It’s 200m and comes from a multi wilderness boss that can 1 hit you..

Please don’t just mindlessly agree with something, this is not a good enough reason not to add this use.. atm the spear quite literally has no use? Outside of vls there’s absolutely NO reason to be killing galvek vls is literally the only useful item it drops and it drops like 6 rare items in total and only 1 has a use.. it’s just not good enough.

It's not mindlessly agreeing when you have the same opinion? His argument is valid, and there's a reason why pvp weapons are only used with "PVP" content.  Stop assuming those who are against your idea don't have valid reasons.  The only ones agreeing with you are exactly as November stated.  Again. +1 for no support

Again you’re only reason behind not supporting sounds selfish to me “only clans can kill the boss” “pvp weapons should be pvp only” well the spear isn’t a pvp weapon it was literally designed for Corp so denying the item of its basic use is just stupid and makes no sense .. and the people agreeing are being honest they’re not being biased at all.

It should have a use, vesta spear will never be used in PVP because it is not a good weapon. Atleast having it work at corp would give it some value and a reason for people to want to buy it.

I don't mind at all updates that benefits pvp.

I mind the idea of an update that benefits a select few members in clans, buffing the Spear will only make it skyrocket in price, and the supply will only be given to those clans that can compete for Galvek.

If you were to say "Buff V Spear so.. it can stun for a longer time or it also disables prayers" yeah sure, a PvP weapon obtaining PvP related buffs is fine.

The PvP Armour has always been for PvP purposes, the fact that it was overpowered for PvM situations on release before OSRS came out was extremely obvious and this is why actual OSRS did not integrate the use of any PvP armour or weapons into the main game.

The thread's useless because there's obvious bias of people who benefit from it wanting the buffs, some not caring and others not wanting top tier weapons being gatekept to 50 / 3000 people. It would be like me saying only Maxed people should be able to touch Galvek because Maxing is such a grind. If David wanted PvP weapons to be used out of PvP situations it would've been like that from the beginning, cheers.

there's nothing bias about this thread lmfao, it's not a pvp weapon so giving it a pvp related buff is stupid and makes 0 sence it was created for a single use, to be used at corp, so why does it not have it's primary use? makes NO sense.

It's a PvP weapon, how is it not? And of course there's bias when there's a few select people supporting it also being the ones who will benefit from it. You might want to look up some things.

Can this be added already? Vesta’s spear only use in the entire game is corp. It’s very rare and is hardly better dps than a zamorakian spear.
