We're glad to finally be in a stage where we are confident the game can go online. Our launch date is on the 27th of November 9PM GMT + 1, you can find a countdown timer on the homepage of our website. I know there is some time still to wait from the time we post this thread till launch but its the safest date for us to announce and it gives everyone a ton of time to hand in their holiday forms into work for some time off. ? You can read a thread on FAQ here. I'll list a couple of the important questions here. Will I need a forum account to play Zaros? You will need to register an account to play Zaros, you won't simply be able to login with any username and password like some other RSPS. Register your username now, use a different password to any other website or RSPS as there are so many leaked databases available! People literally have programs to spin through leaked databases to search for passwords. If you have EVER used that password before it's going to be found! Can I see some pictures of the server? We post tons of pictures in our discord channel under the #sneak-peaks channel, make sure to check out why there is so much hype here https://discord.gg/zaros What type of server will this be? PK server, eco server or what? This server will be built to have a friendly economy, you won't be able to spawn your stats or items. We hope to accommodate pkers through enjoyable and rewarding content in the wilderness. Still, our primary focus is to build a balanced game that is suited to the majority rather than limiting ourselves to a minority. Will this server have a mobile client? Yes, however, this will only be available on Android devices. Will this server sell best in-game items in the store? No. However we do need our store to be appealing so people will spend money as it's very expensive to run a fantastic server, by the time we launch we would have spent a tremendous amount on development and marketing. With that said we will never sell the best items in-game for example Twisted Bow & Scythe of Vitur, these items will only ever be obtainable ingame from their respective activities. We want items to be worthwhile and not for everyone with a credit card running around in the best gear on the first week of launch. We do need the server to be able to sustain itself, we're not like all those other RSPS, I'm sure you've tried that has died after 2 weeks. We'll try our best to have a store that doesn't devalue the content of Zaros too much. Some items we can promise will never be found on our store or obtainable via paid means such as mystery boxes, these are just some of them. They'll be many more items you'll only ever be able to obtain via means in-game. All items from COX including Twisted Bow All items from TOB including Scythe of Vitur Toxic Blowpipe Staff of the dead Dragon Warhammer Spirit Shields All nightmare items Much, much more that I simply can't think of on the top of my head right now but basically all BIS items will never be obtainable for $! I know some people will have some questions regarding Ikov so check out the thread above for more information on that.What prizes can be won? We're going to be giving away five Sony Playstation 5's! These will be given to: The first player to achieve the achievement cape The first player to achieve maximum total level on a realism account The first player to achieve maximum total level on an ironman account (HCIM also counts, group ironmen don't) The first player to achieve maximum total level on an ultimate ironman account The first player to achieve maximum total level on an elite ironman account The first ironman group to achieve 4 billion experience will receive $100 PayPal for each member. (This isn't a PS5) The first realism ironman group to achieve 4 billion experience will receive $100 PayPal for each member. (This isn't a PS5) If you don't want a PlayStation 5 we can also credit your Zaros account instead or send you the equivalent amount through Paypal. We're also releasing a new piece of content every week for the first month of Zaros, unlike other RSPS who promise content after launch we've actually already completed all the content it's ready to go. The reason we're delaying each week is that it gives people a chance to prepare for them and allows us to do more events that people can enter without being there in the first week. Week 1 - Chambers of Xerics The first player to get the olmet will receive $100 PayPal or $150 Zaros credits. The first player to get a unique item will receive $100 PayPal or $150 Zaros credits. The person with the fastest solo time after 1 week will receive $200 PayPal or $300 Zaros credits. The group with the fastest time after 1 week will receive $50 PayPal or $100 Zaros credits each (Limited to max of 10). The person with the most COX completions after 1 week will receive $100 PayPal or $150 Zaros credits. Week 2 - Theatre of Blood The first player to get the lil' zik pet will receive $100 PayPal or $150 Zaros credits. The first player to get a unique item will receive $100 PayPal or $150 Zaros credits. The group with the fastest time after 1 week will receive $50 PayPal or $100 Zaros credits each (Limited to max of 10). The person with the most TOB completions after 1 week will receive $100 PayPal or $150 Zaros credits. Week 3 - Nightmare of Ashihama The first player to get the little nightmare pet will receive $100 PayPal or $150 Zaros credits. The first player to get a unique item will receive $100 PayPal or $150 Zaros credits. The group with the fastest time after 1 week will receive $50 PayPal or $100 Zaros credits each (Limited to max of 10). Week 4 - Challenge Mode COX The first player to get the metamorphic dust will receive $100 PayPal or $150 Zaros credits. The first player to get a unique item will receive $100 PayPal or $150 Zaros credits. The group with the fastest time after 1 week will receive $100 PayPal or $150 Zaros credits each (Limited to max of 10). * Anyone found to be breaking any rules will be disqualified from the event, account sharing is also illegal in this competition so be cautious before deciding to do so. Will I get anything for being one of the first Zaros players? Yes, along with the chance of being one of the lucky ones to win a PlayStation 5 all players who log in over the launch weekend will receive an exclusive loyalty title 'Day One' (Yes we have loyalty titles, can be disabled though if you prefer) What am I going to do while I wait for Zaros to launch? While you wait, you can always participate in Ikovs group elite ironman competition that is starting on October 16 with tons of in real life prizes!
