ETA on GIM Update?

Do we have an ETA on when the Group Ironman Mode will be developed further? 

 

I don’t have to play the mode to see how frustrating situations could get as a Group Ironman.

 

People not doing what they said they would do…

People not playing as much as they said they were going to…

People hogging items and acting like they’re a solo iron with “helpers”…

People stealing items and transferring to their main…

People straight up just going DEAD MODE… ☠️

the list goes on and on…

 

Sh*t happens and we deal with it. We chose the  Ironman Mode because it’s more enjoyable, challenging and rewarding than the regular game mode.

However, it goes without saying that if the Development Team could update the GIM Mode and fix the main issues - it would be highly celebrated throughout the Ironman Community! 🎊

Please,

• Allow Ironman Group Leaders to Kick Members from their Group with a majority vote
• Allow Ironman Group Leaders to be ‘Challenged’ to a majority vote for New Leadership
• Allow Ironman Group Members to Leave their Group
• Allow the Ironman Group Bank to work on World 2 (possibly a separate bank until a long-term solution is developed)

I've attached a Poll to see how the Community thinks we should deal with being Kicked or when Leaving a Group.

Glad to see someone shining a light on the GIM situation.
I feel like this is an update that many have been waiting for. Hopefully this thread will help the Developers decide on how to go about things.

I think the biggest problem with GIM is the developers are trying to find out how to prevent griefing from teammates leaving/kicking

I'd personally would like the idea of any rare / unique drops (Whips, Godswords, Bludgeon, Bandos, Aramadyl, etc.) Put inside the shared banked to be considered a "Lent" item not allowing them to be drop traded, sold, or loss by anyone in the group who personally didn't get that item as a drop themselves. Additionally these items can be recalled by the original owner in the event someone grief holds the item or fails to login within X amount of time. I feel like this can help the GIM community a lot to prevent players from abusing the system (Supplies / Components put inside shared bank will remain as is)
