    The Theatre of Blood

    Towards the east of Gielinor, located within the Sanguinesti region, is Ver Sinhaza. Once the home of Queen Efaritay, it is now ruled over by Verzik Vitur, head of the Vitur family and one of the few true-born vampyres on Gielinor. For millennia, Lady Verzik has commanded an army of vampyres whom she has not only used to do her biddings, but also provide her with on-demand entertainment. It didn't take long before this became tiresome, and so she instructed her followers to create a gauntlet filled with some of the strongest warriors, creations and creatures. This is what we call today the Theatre of Blood.
     


    + Changes and Additions

    - You can now access the Trollheim Herb patch, and this patch is now disease-free
    - Mithril Seeds have had their prices cut in half, and made untradeable
    - Moderators and Administrators now have the ability to clear farming patches for you if you have any bugged ones left over from an update we made prior. If your patch is in a state it shouldn't be, contact a staff member
    - Empty and Water Filled Vials now sell in packs at the Herblore store
    - You will now get more Giant Seaweed based on your farming level, as well as the appropriate amount of experience
    - You can now use the Ivandis' Flail to harvest Mort Myre Fungi
    - You can now make, and use Compost Potions
    - You can now burn giant seaweed, provided you have the inventory space to do so
    - You can now use the Humidify spell to water your saplings


    + PvP Changes

    - The cost to repair barrows has been reduced by 50%
    - Larran's Key drop table has received a buff, adding better supplies
     

    + Other bug fixes

    - Fixed issues with the Tool Leprechaun storage, including not saving your buckets, spades and trowels
    - Fixed an issue with Vasa Nistirio's special attack targeting dead players
    - Fixed an issue with Vasa Nistirio boulders damaging you as you were teleported for the special attack
    - Hardwood Squirrels (Fossil Island farming patches) will now only move in a radius of 2 squares
    - Plant Pot Packs should now give the right filled plant pots for farming
    - The Maxed announcement should now come after the 99 announcement
    - Fixed an issue with the Belladonna patch over-growing
    - Fixed an issue with Giant Seaweed over-growing, if your patch is still in a diseased state, use a spade on it or contact a staff member
    - Fixed an issue with Redwood Trees not giving only clue nests
    - You can now climb up the ladder of a Redwood Tree that you've grown
    - Fixed an issue with the Piscatoris Monkfish achievement
    - Fixed an issue where you could grind items without a Pestle and Mortar
    - Fixed an issue with Arclight not working on some black demons
     

  2. + Content Additions & Changes:

    - You can now use the world switcher in-game to hop worlds
    - Blood Money will now go to the players bank if they are a Super donator or higher
    - Anti-Macro flags should now only spring up on certain actions
    - Reverted the update on constructing Crafting Benches
    - You can now build a Mounted Mythical Cape
    - The Agility Pyramid now only grants 50,000 coins upon completion
    - Lowered the amount of slayer experience that defeating TzTok-Jad rewards
    - Made changes to Zulrah’s non-unique drop rates


    + Raids changes and bug fixes:
    - Unique droprate is now 1% for every 5650 points (previously 1% for every 6000 points). (Buff)
    - The party system now allows for the leader to leave the raid before it’s started without disbanding it (as long as there’s another player inside the       raid with recruit+ rank in clanchat). This will make scouting easier as other players can basically hold the raid for you now.


    - Prepping:
       - Potions can now be split into two doses.
       - Potion level requirements fixed.
       - Harvesting herbs no longer randomly stops, and is now faster. Additionally, herbs that fall on the floor when a player’s inventory is full will no     longer despawn.
       - Opening the creation menu no longer cancels current movement.
       - The message for filling vials with water is now filtered.


    - Great Olm:
    - Protection prayers now lower damage more effectively from basic attacks.
    - Crystal burst claw special is now 1 tick faster.


    - Olm flame wall:
       - Fires can now be extinguished with more water items.
       - Fixed a bug that didn’t allow for spam clicking when using water spells..
       - The fires now properly despawn when Olm dies.


    - Lizardmen shamans:
       - Minions now spawn less frequently.
       - Lowered Acid attack AoE damage radius. Additionally it no longer damages players standing behind objects (such as tentacles in raids).
       - Acid attack now always poisons if the player has no protection.


    - Guardians:
       - Guardians are now immune to poison/venom and recoil effects.
       - The rock attack now counts as typeless (prayer protection doesn’t reduce its damage).


    - Muttadiles:
       - Muttadiles will no longer move around as much when attacking.
       - If a player runs out of the Muttadile’s field of view after freezing it, the Muttadile will now remain frozen.
       - Boulders thrown as Vasa Nistirio begins to channel the special attack will no longer deal damage.
       - Fixed a bug where a few bosses would become unkillable when reaching low health.
       - Poisonous chests in the thieving room now deal AoE damage.
       - Fixed a problem with the global broadcasts for best times, it was announcing wrong records.
       - Spam clicking ropes no longer teleports you twice.
       - The shared storage unit warning will now be permanently disabled when closed.
       - Exiting raids now restores run energy.


    + Other bug fixes:
    - Fixed a problem with the plank make spell
    - Fixed a problem with the anti-macro freezing players
    - Filling vials with water should now properly filter the game message if turned on
    - Fixed a problem with ruby bolts not damaging properly
    - Fixed a problem with watered seedlings not growing in the bank
    - Fixed some issues with the Duel Arena 
    - Having a max cape in your inventory should count for the Holy Wrench bonus
    - Removing a mounted Mythical or Legend’s cape should now return the cape to you
    - Fixed a problem with granite maul instant special attack
    - Fixed being able to teleport to donator zones without the required rank
    - Fixed not being able to add Vorkath’s head to the slayer helmet
    - Fixed a problem with the Abyssal Tentacle not poisoning the target
    - Fixed a problem with boosted stats being consistent at the Gauntlet
    - Added a cool-down to the Abyssal Demon teleporting you

    I would +1 this, as it would also more closely align the playing field to a level position. I would hope that no-one who's posted singling out construction would be found in opposition of these changes - they have the same merits, after all.

    Averaging 20+ hours of playtime (which does not include splashing the other 4 when possible) a day - it still took me a full day's worth of high effort focus to get this grind done. Construction is about to be made not only cheaper but also faster -- it only makes sense to extend the courtesy to other players for the other skills. 


    Please note we're still waiting on David's input and we're only brainstorming here. The proposed change to Construction is not set in stone yet.

    My t3 Bench was a pretty time consuming yet cheap method, it was not as much XP as Planks but it was for sure way cheaper, not sure why it was 'nerfed' as it didn't need nerfing ( 4k molten glass for normal rates and like 20k molten glass for x8 rates )

     

    Because our experience rates are supposed to be your gamemodes rate * OSRS experience.

    Crafting Benches were supposed to grant 1 and 2 experience respectively, this was a bug.

    Of course! Obviously I'm not happy that a bug was available in the game that was abusable, and I'm furthermore upset that solving this bug disrupted not only a competition but a thought-to-be efficient way of training a particular skill.

    Like I said, we're still waiting on David's input and once we have the go-ahead to move forward with an idea, we will let you know what will happen.

    I've been spit-balling what to do about this problem in my mind for the last little bit, and I've come to the conclusion that resetting peoples levels, or putting a bug back into the game isn't quite acceptable.

    We're currently waiting on David's input into the matter before we make any moves, but to get some ideas rolling that don't involve resetting people or putting a bug back into the game, would taking away the 10x modifier on plank prices for ironmen be something we can chat about?
