Zaros Updates - Small Changes

Good Morning, Zaros!
 
Today kicks off the first update of the new year! Have a read over the update notes and let us know what you think in the comments below. As always, if you have any suggestions, feel free to post them in our discord or here on the forums.
 
Town Board:
  • Tasks that require you to hand in items will now attempt to take from your bank if you do not have them all in your inventory.
  • Low level tasks will now "fall-off" of the task pool as your level in that relevant skill(s) gets higher. The falloff amount is about 50 levels. For example: Lobsters require level 40 fishing, so at level 90 fishing you will no longer receive that task. This rule does not apply to each and every task, but it does for most.
  • Added a settings button in the top left to quickly take you to the challenge-task toggle.
  • New Tasks:
    • Kill Bosses:
      • Zulrah
      • Vorkath
    • Kill Monsters:
      • Smoke Devils
    • Minigames:
      • Fight caves (Jad)
      • Tombs of Amascut (normal) - challenge task
    • Smelting:
      • Dragonite Bar (2-3) - challenge task
  • When burning logs using infernal axe or doomsayer's axe, it will now count towards "burn log" tasks.
 
Bossing/PvM:
  • Corrected drop rates for elder chaos robes. They are now approximately a base rate of 1/200.
  • Tombs of Amascut:
    • Added Masori assembler completionist cape. This can be made by either using a masori asembler or masori assembler max cape on a completionist cape.
    • Added ToA items to doomsayer's exchange
    • Zebak:
      • More changes to prevent invisible poison splats during/after the tidal wave attack.
  • Zulrah:
    • Combat interactions with snakelings will no longer stop when Zulrah dives into the water.
  • Nex:
    • Added the "ice crystal" to its drop table at a base rate of 1/250 for each player. When used on a completionist cape, it will morph it into an "ice completionist cape".
    • This drop is considered tertiary and the rate scales based on your drop rate modifier and is not impacted by traditional nex party scaling mechanics.
    • The ice crystal has also been added to doomsayer's exchange in the event you obtain duplicates.
  • Fixed certain superior slayer monsters not dropping guaranteed larrans key in the wilderness slayer dungeon.
 
Skills:
  • Magic:
    • Added the ability to auto-enchant jewelry. This method is slower than doing it manually, but much more afkable!
    • Fixed the west ardougne portal in your POH going to normal ardougne.
  • Fishing:
    • The golden tench drop rate now scales based on your drop rate modifier.
    • Fixed the aerial fishing auto-cut feature. It will now be an instant action like previously.
  • Farming:
    • Watering saplings in your inventory will now take the first sapling available instead of the one you clicked on.
  • Crafting:
    • You can now craft spiky vambraces using kebbit claws.
  • Herblore:
    • Fixed wielded secateurs not working on herbiboar.
 
Runelite:
  • Fixed timers for stamina potion, teleblock spell, and vengeance cool-down.
  • Fixed various elite clues not triggering the helper plugin overlay.
 
Other Changes/Fixes:
  • Removed the Christmas event. Upon login, your remaining wrapping paper will automatically be converted into presents.
  • Implemented the max hitsplat setting that will show a special hitsplat for hitting your maximum hit. This should work on most direct-damage related impacts.
  • Cannon and other non-direct impacts will no longer degrade or consume charges on your armour/weapons (such as crystal gear).
  • Fixed black sweets reducing your stat levels when the skill is already above the cap.
  • Probita/Pet Insurance:
    • Added a setting that, when enabled, will automatically consume pet reclaim tokens upon death so you do not have to travel back to probita to pick up your pet every time.
    • Added a settings button in the top right of the interface that quickly takes you to the probita settings.
  • Implemented the "Food Potion Supply Pile" setting.
  • Lil' Creator and Abyssal Protector were removed from the collection log (under "All Pets" in the "Other" category) seeing as they are currently unobtainable.
  • Fixed donator ranks not being hidden in friends chat and private chat with the "Show donator rank" setting toggled off
 
Looking Forward:
  • Trimmed completionist capes are in the works for those seeking more endgame challenges. There's a suggestion thread on our discord showcasing them a bit more if anyone is interested.
  • Donator rank re-balancing, new benefits, and new donator zones are also in progress.

Still no runelite plug-in for Chunk locked accounts. Would greatly appreciate that!
