I get asked loads of questions on how to train slayer and where to even start it! This guide will hopefully give you some tips on how to improve your slaying gameplay! ! Quick Note ! Slayer Master South of Edge Bank isn't determined on slayer level, they're scaled with combat level! However you can find the other masters same as normal OSRS with the same Slayer Requirement level. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Where do I start slayer? Slayer can be started by teleporting to ::Edge. Then towards the South of the bank will be your slayer master. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ How many slayer masters do we have? (North of Edge Bank) Note - They will automatically update depending on your combat level. So the same one won't always be at the Edge Coffins unless you don't level up your combat. Spoiler Turael is Located in Burthorp. Task Level: Easy Turael is usually the best master to start out with since he assigns the easiest tasks early on. Chickens/Cows/Goblins Ect. Assignments: ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Nieve is Located in Gnone Stronghold/South Edge Bank Task Level: Medium Nieve is a good slayer master to use as most of her tasks are easy to get to. She only assigns tasks to players with a combat level of at least 85 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Konar quo Maten is a slayer master who is found in the Kahlith settlement on the summit of Mount Karuulm. Task Level: Hard The reason I think Konar is harder is because he assigns location specific tasks. Players must have a combat level of at least 75 to be assigned a Slayer task from her. Spoiler What is a normal slayer helmet? A slayer helmet is a piece of headgear made by combining various pieces of slayer equipment. The helmet can be created by players with level 55 Crafting (boosts work) and who have unlocked the "Malevolent masquerade" ability for 400 slayer reward points. It requires 10 Defence to equip. When worn on a Slayer assignment, the helmet provides the Melee boost of 16.67% (from the black mask used to make it) against monsters assigned as the player's slayer task. This does not stack with the boosts given by the Salve amulet _______________________________________________________________ What is a slayer helmet (I) Imbued? -The Slayer helmet (i), requiring a Defence level of 10 to wear, is a piece of equipment that is worn in the helmet slot. - It functions in the same manner as its unimbued variant (with the 16.67% Melee bonus), except that it also provides an extra 15% boost to Ranged accuracy and Ranged damage, and a 15% boost to Magic accuracy and Magic damage, against monsters assigned as the player's slayer task. The Imbued Verison also allows you to look at your NPC Kill Log. Note- You will need the 'Imbued Slayer Scroll From The 'Slayer Rewards Shop' to Imbue your slayer helm! _______________________________________________________________ Items Needed to make a Slayer Helm: -Black Mask -Spiny Helm -Earmuffs -Nosepeg -Enchanted Gem Note- You will need to purchase the ability to make a slayer helmet from the slayer 'rewards' shop for 400 Points: Then combine them all together. Slayer Rewards Shop/Unlocks/Money Making Spoiler Rewards/Unlocks are bought with Slayer points: Slayer Unlocks Money Making: Most of your money will come through the rare drops as you level higher in slayer However you can get things called 'slayer caskets' which drop around 1/10 where you can get around 100k ea casket. However you won't get cash each time. -You can also Alch the rune items you get for some nice profit! Speeding up your Slayer Levels/ Useful Items/Tips/Fastest Points Spoiler Cannon: Why is it useful: This can help speed up tasks as it can hit multiple NPCS Per turn Ammo: Cannon Balls Cost: 1 Slayer Point for 10. Or make them/buy them yourself Cannon Cost: 300 Points (75 per piece) ____________________________________________ Salve Amulet (IE) Why is it Useful: When imbued it increases the wearer's damage and accuracy in Ranged and Magic by 20% while attacking undead monsters. This is in addition to the 20% boost to Attack and Strength that is already provided by the salve amulet (e). Cost: 250 Slayer Points ____________________________________________________ Slayer Ring: Why is it Useful: This ring teleports you straight to your current task location. Saves time. Cost: 5 Points Per Ring ____________________________________________________ Holy Wrench Why is it useful: When in inventory when they a player drinks a prayer potion, prayer mix, super restore potion, or Sanfew serum, they will regain additional Prayer points, depending on their Prayer level. Cost: 100 Slayer Points ____________________________________________________ Slayer Helmet (I) Why is it useful: When equipped it will increase your damage against your assigned slayer monster Cost: Ability to make Slayer Helm + Inbue Scroll = 600 Slayer Points _________________________________ BoneCrusher Why is it useful: When carried in the inventory, if the player kills a monster that drops bones, the bonecrusher will automatically crush them giving them the XP. Cost: 100 Slayer Points __________________________________________________________ Darklight: Why is it useful: The Darklight can be upgraded into the Arclight by using three ancient shards on the Altar in the centre of the Catacombs of Kourend. Doing so further increases the effectiveness against demons and changes attack speed to 4 Cost: 150 Slayer Points __________________________________________________________ Atleast 70 Prayer Why is it Useful: Having 70 Prayer allows you to unlock 'Piety' Piety gives a temporary 25% boost to a player's Defence, a 23% boost to a player's Strength, and a 20% boost to a player's Attack. __________________________________________________________ Potions: Having any potions that increase your Melee Stats is going to be an advantage against any NPC as you will be able to hit more against them. __________________________________________________________ Getting Fast Points: To get the fastest points possible would be to try and get all the above and use the best gear you have. Most People will Use the Easiest slayer master (Turael) Up to the 9th Task Every 10TH Task players should switch to Nieve as you will get a huge boost in points due to completing the 10th/100th/1000th Task in a row. sk1l Posted December 1, 2021 Share Posted December 1, 2021 Hey lovely guide! in the speed up tab can you also add "expeditious bracelets" its a bracelet if you wear it and kill a slayer monster it sometimes counts as 2 kills and they are easy to craft 🙂 this bracelet is not very known in the rsps community I didn't even know it myself for years but it really speeds up the process by ALOT Great guide btw again!
