PS5?

Personally I'm an xbox user, but I'm not locked to one brand so to speak. However, I do not like the design of this. Do you?

i like the bigger controller, but the console looks like shit.

Love the design. Spiderman version looks sick as well. I wouldn't buy it, but the digital download only version looks extra clean.

See I'm all for this digital future, so long as I'm not having to pay premium prices for game downloads, pretty sure fifa is still around £50 and its nearly a year old.

Yeah, I like the look of it, but I buy most of my games from Kijiji/Craigs List a month after release for decent discounts lol.

We have cdkeys in the uk which gives a code, bought a few pc games on there like FM20. I do like the designs of these new digital consoles though, makes sense as they are not noisy whatsoever as well

As a long time Playstation user, my opinion may be biased. However, I think that the new design of the Playstation hardware actually looks quite appealing. It comes with a great design that allows for both vertical and horizontal placement. It is somewhat similar to the Playstation 4 in terms out input and output management but from my own perspective I believe that it has a more modern and futuristic-type look in comparison to the first Playstation 4 that was released back in 2013. Persnoally, I will more than likely purchase it right away when it enters the market. Not only because I'm a fan of the design and the hardware, but also because of the games that will come out such as Horizon Zero Dawn 2.

I hear you, it mostly sits on a table behind the tv or in a tv stand anyway so looks arent everything I just think they could have done more to make it easier on the eye.

I'm a big fan of the PS5 reveal and the modern, sleek look of it. I like that they took a risk with their design compared to the Xbox xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx that looks like the most generic thing you can find in the 21st century, don't you think? Anyway, if you don't agree with me then you're not alone because my buddy absolutely hates this design lol!

Id prefer a matte black 'mini fridge' xbox design than the megatron looking virgin media router that's got a ps5 logo on it, if I had to be completely honest ? I just think it would fit in with other things in the house.

Lmao!! You make a good point when you're talking about it matching with the other furniture and stuff you have around the house, so I get it haha! Personally, I just ordered myself a gaming laptop a few days ago and I've tried all the consoles over the years but I always ended up at a dead end and wanting to sell em. Right now I just have a switch lite for veryyyyyy occasional, mess-around-for-30-minutes play lol ?

I love the design. However, If they could release a black version of it, I'd be all over it. I'd only buy it to play the exclusives since I play everything on my PC but I need the console to go with my theme and having it all white doesn't cut it. The design itself, I'm in love... Someone had done fan art and created a spider-man edition which was black with red trim, looks amazing. I'd snag that real quick.

I'm pretty sure that once the Playstation 5 is released to the public, it will come out in different colors. As far as I know, the Playstation 4 came with different colors on release as well, such as white, black, pink and red. Perhaps a few others too.

I reckon white, black and maybe a few that are customs for different titles. Dbrand and other skin makes do a good job of wrapping the consoles anyway

My memory is pretty awful but for some reason I feel like they added those extra colors at a later time and the original console came in one color, same with the Xbox One. Over the years they had special bundles with games and also the slim versions and the pro version and for each of those I believe they added new colors and patterns. I don't remember exactly though because it's been so long lol

Watched the live event and I'm honestly really excited for the console. I'll be getting both when they release, but I mostly stick to PlayStation.

I'm pretty excited to see more next gen gameplay. One game I'm so amped for (although a little apprehensive of after Bethesda's up and down track record lately) is Elder Scrolls VI. I really hope I can play it on PC but who knows what kind of exclusivity looms in the near future. As consoles get more expensive, I can imagine that the money they have to offer developers for exclusive access goes up and up too. Also, it seems that it always comes down to the quality of the exclusives in the console wars. Better to have both if you can get em!

Forsure. I've put back money for awhile for these two consoles to drop. I've never played the Elder Scrolls games but I may have to give it a shot this year. I'm most looking forward to the new Spider-Man game as well as Cyberpunk and the new AC: Valhalla.

In the ideal world id love both, and will probably invest in both once I get back to norm after lockdown. I love forza for xbox as one of its main titles.

The spiderman edit of the console looks good you know, not looked at the new spiderman trailers tho, played the old ones briefly

I love Forza and I actually played the last Spiderman game and had sooooo much fun with it. Spiderman GTA version pretty much lol

Gta massively needs an update, sick of the same game with limited proper content. I know they brought out the casino ect but I just feel with these next gen consoles, they can really push for it in terms of graphics ect. I think that one will be the next I buy (apart from Fifa, forza & cod ofc) the three pillars of my console gaming career. The thing is, as i'm getting older, i'm tending to go on consoles less and less and have migrated to using the computer more with games such as Football Manager 2020 & poker

I can't believe GTA has been riding high on the same game for 8 years. When the heck is the next installment gonna come out? lol
