Hello and welcome to this weekend's DDS Tournament! This event will be the second event on Sunday, starting at approximately 19:30 server time. In this event, all participants will compete in a bracket-based tournament.
For this event, we require you to sign up here by replying to this thread with your in-game username that you will be competing on. THERE WILL BE NO LATE ENTRIES ACCEPTED, SIGNUPS WILL BE CLOSED AT 18:30 SERVER TIME SUNDAY, 1 HOUR BEFORE THE EVENT STARTS. All you need to do is be online and ready at ::duel when the event is about to begin.
Format:
For this event, once participants have signed up and sign ups are closed, players will be split into multiple brackets, dependent on the number of staff hosts. Each of these brackets will be run by staff members in different locations. These brackets will play out to the top 3, at which point the top 3 of each bracket will be seeded into "The Finals" to compete for prices. The top 3 winners of the individual brackets do not necessarily receive prizes, only the top 3 winners in the finals.How It Works:
Two players will be called upon to face off and begin a duel with each other. The duel must take place in front of a staff member; if there is no staff directly beside you to observe the duel, it will not be counted. Staff will be responsible to be in the duel arena at the time of the event and call out the names of opponents and watch their match. These brackets will not be made public so that players are not able to duel their partner ahead of time; you will have your names called by staff of who you are to duel and it is the players' responsibility to challenge the other to the duel. If you win, you move on. If you lose, you are eliminated from the bracket. Any player who uses any weapon besides a DDS or eats any food during the duel will be disqualified, regardless of what settings were selected.Example Preset:

1st - 300 Donator Tokens + 2 Mystery Boxes
2nd - 200 Donator Tokens + 1 Mystery Box

Hello everyone,
Welcome to the Weekend of Events! Each weekend the team will be hosting up to 10 events with juicy prizes to claim - the events will start promptly at 19:00 server time. The prizes for specific events will be announced once the event has started, the prizes can range from mystery boxes to cosmetics to donation tokens!
Coordinates Hide n Seek - The host will hide and will say the coordinates of where he is hiding, first person to find the host wins.
Jad Pet Hunt - First user to receive the jad pet after the event starts win(will specify if you must kill jad or exchange the fire cape)
Pest Control Boost - Pest Control points will be boosted for a limited amount of time.
Drop of the Day - Users will race to obtain a specified drop that will be announced by the event hosts..
Nightmare Mass and Boost - Nightmare mass with boosted drop rates with added on mystery boxes for any announced drops.
Slayer Points Boost - Users will receive increased slayer points upon the completion of any slayer task for a limited time duration.
Wilderness Hide n Seek - The event host will hide somewhere in the wilderness and give clues as to where he is, first person to kill him wins.
DDS Tournament - Players will dds stake each other in a 1v1 bracket style tournament with rewards for the top 3 players
Theatre of Blood Boost - Theatre of Blood drop rates will be boosted for a limited time duration.
Inquisitor's Mace - The first person to receive a Inquisitor's Mace this weekend will win this event. Pm "Konar" on discord/forums or reply to this thread with a full client screenshot with the words "weekend event" in your chatboxRegards, Zaros events team.

Nobody on the server cares if someone finishes a skilling outfit in the first place, especially when the announcement is clearly bugged and has been bugged for a month+.
This is nothing but a simple text switch to the coding to make a small difference in a server. This is just pure laziness and lack of care for the player base and growth of the server.
Yeah, we're probably going to remove skilling outfits from being announced

You're just really unlucky it seems, osrs drop rates for a purple is 1% per 8675 pts, on here it's approx 5100 per 1%, basically 30% better rates, sucks to go dry tho

Being rich doesn't really do anything in this event other than let you do faster kills at some places, this event is all about luck

Kinda like a leagues type of thing. I would love a competitive feeling of playing this game.
As a community we could make a list of tasks to do, base stats , 99s, maxing, collection logs, boss pet, skilling pet, 200m in a stat , complete a wilderness shield. Obtain a item from GWD bosses . Just some examples. Make it 4-6 weeks with a nice reward at the end. If we got 30-40 players to participate i would happily contribute 100-150$ in scrolls. With the help of Devs to match / contribute to a prize pool I think we could have a great tournament going that will engage players on a consistent basis with a nice grind feeling. Player with most tasks completed win 1st place and have a 2nd and 3rd place as well.
If anyone would like to get together and plan such event go ahead and shoot me a PM.
I'll have a chat with the events team and get back to you!

As of now we're leaving it how it is but might revise it further down the road, personally I don't want it on my uim, I'd rather just go to the farming guild to use the vault there, I find it a waste of space

The too many login attemps happens if you try to log in more than 4-5 times in a span of 3 minutes
