Hello everyone,
Welcome to the Weekend of Events! Each weekend the team will be hosting up to 12 events with juicy prizes to claim - the events will start promptly at 19:00 server time. The prizes for specific events will be announced once the event has started, the prizes can range from mystery boxes to cosmetics to donation tokens!
Drop of the Day - Users will race to obtain a specified drop that will be announced by the event hosts.
Nightmare Mass and Boost - Nightmare mass with boosted drop rates with added on mystery boxes for any announced drops.
Pest Control Boost - Pest Control points will be boosted for a limited amount of time.
Bonus Golden Nuggets - Golden Nuggets obtained from the Motherlode Mine will be boosted for a limited time duration.
Scavenger Hide N Seek- The event host will provide hints to where they are located and what items they must gather before finding the host.
Jad Pet Hunt - First user to receive the jad pet after the event starts win(will specify if you must kill jad or exchange the fire cape)
Theatre of Blood Boost - Theatre of Blood drop rates will be boosted for a limited time duration.
Bonus Hallowed Sepulchre - Extra loot rolls from opening coffins will be turned on for a limited time duration.
Hot and Cold Flower Event - Users will meet at a broadcasted location and line up in a single-file line. Hosts will go down the line, asking each participant to guess either hot or cold for a single flower plant; if you are correct, you stay, if not, you are eliminated.
Gauntlet Boost - Gauntlet drop rates will be boosted for a limited time duration.
Clue Boost - Players will receive extra rolls on uniques for a limited amount of time.
Third Age - The first person to receive a 3rd age item this weekend will win the event. Pm "Konar" on discord/forums or reply to this thread with a full client screenshot with the words "weekend event" in your chatbox

Boss Pet Hunt and Boost - The first person to get a boss pet once the event hosts announces the start of the event wins. Pet rates will be boosted for a limited amount of time as well.
Zalcano Mass - Zalcano Mass with prizes for any announced uniques.

Bonus Birdhouses - The time it takes for birdhouses to finish will be lowered for a limited time duration.
Corporeal Beast Mass - Corporeal Beast mass with added on mystery boxes for any announced drops.

the only way to fix the eco now is to start removing items. This is being neglected by the decision makers of this server. I dont pvm so i cant come with ideas to lower the amounts of those items but i do pk so i can give suggestions on that
Yeah I agree there needs to be an item sink, I just don't see enough coming into game if we made them degradeable

There is something that balances them, they can only be used against players, if we made it so they degraded, there wouldn't be any in-game because not enough come into the game

On 80x with level 80 attack you get 350 experience per point. One game of pest control grants you a minimum of 15 points, scaling up into the 20's for donators and pest control events. Each game takes a total of 2-3 minutes to complete.
15 points x 350 = 5,250
5,250 x 80x = 420,000 experience per game MINIMUM pre-99. On regular (non-ironman mode) this would be 1,050,000 experience per game. At a post-max rate of 25x, this would be 210,000 experience per game (taking into account 560 XP per point at 99)
While I don't agree with setting it to multiply by your game mode, I would not be opposed to setting a custom modifier for it.
Something like 1/2-1/3 of game mode wouldn't be too bad imo

We have 2 people who deal with tickets, it sucks that the wait time can be a little much sometimes but they have lives too, also responses are usually never more than 12-48 hours at most, make sure you're going back and checking the ticket periodically to check for what they want you to do.
