Fletching is a skill which allows the player to create various types of ranged weapons and their ammunition. The products of this skill are primarily used in the combat skill, Ranged.

When Fletching you Require a Knife to be able to cut the Logs 

Fletching is quite a grindy skill with some quite slow xp rates.

Any Type Of Axe to cut down trees (If you're not Buying Logs From Trading Post)

 Bronze Axe (Woodcutting level 1)

 Iron Axe  (WoodCutting Level 1)

 Steel Axe (Woodcutting Level 6)

 Black Axe (Woodcutting level 11)

 Mithril Axe (Woodcutting Level of 21)

 Adamant Axe  (Woodcutting Level of 31)

 Rune Axe (Woodcutting Level 41)

Dragon Axe (Woodcutting Level of 61

 

You will need a Knife To Cut the logs:

Oak Tree

WoodCutting Level Required: 15

Type Of Wood Obtained: Oak Logs

Willow Tree

Woodcutting Level Required: 30

Type Of Wood Obtained: Willow Logs 

Locations: Draynor/Woodcutting Guild/ Seers Village

 

Maple Tree

Woodcutting Level Required: 45

Type Of Wood Obtained: Maple Logs

Mahogany Tree

Woodcutting Level Required: 50

Yew Tree

I believe the fastest Method For Fletching is trying to obtain the Logs From Trading Post and fletching them into Bows:

The best Location Would Be Woodcutting Guild as there is banks near by!

Requirements: 60 Woodcutting

Normal Mode: 250 XP Per 15 Arrow Shafts

I've followed that doing shields yields the same experience rates per log used ( just like with bows ) but you burn through them x2 as fast, effectively taking half the time to do grind the skill to 99.

Good guide, but forgot to mention the route, where you do slayer to unlock ability to make broad arrows and you can sell broads back to the slayer master so, probably best gp/xp and one of the faster methods

Fastest method is fletching dragon darts for sure. Smithing bars into darts or buying the dart tips/broad bolt tips is a much better method for fletching than any log method especially if you combine the dart fletching with 15minute exp boost books from quest rewards.

One more to the collection. I mean it’ beatifully created. Nice pics , xp rates and levels shown. But this is just basic useless shit explained fashionably. The guide of how to level your fletching to 99 is way out of meta. Guides are supposed to be knowledgeable not 2+2=4 drawn with coloured letters and a shiny picture attached. Good job on the layout tho

yup, 100% agree, useless shit here. only covers the one method which is pretty ass.

I was just reading this and you know for people that are new to the game not a bad method and looks like it took some time to make. So I say great fucking job and the comments you post about it are “pretty ass”
