I had such high hopes from Zaros, but seeing this post get deleted every single time it just looks like they don't care about eu players or player growth to be honest. I've seen people count drop from 800 to 300 now. It's time they do something about it and bring back world 2 for europe players. The last time I try this via this route posting on forums. GIM Tom Posted March 21, 2021 Share Posted March 21, 2021 (edited) I fully agree, it's really shady that they took donations off EU players that were donated to help the upkeep of having a world, the main reason why I donated to extreme+ on my accounts was to give back as we had a second world. Cutting that off with just a hour or so warning is really bad in my eyes, no consideration to the extra boss rooms that are gone, less slayer areas, arieal fishing is now a chore because of how many people can be there, all to try and make PvP a dying part of RuneScape more active. Its either greed, they want less outgoings or a lack of funds - I know which one I believe But hey, they dropped items and gave everyone 5m with bonus xp we should all be happy right? Lmao. Most Wanted Posted March 21, 2021 Share Posted March 21, 2021 The thing is, I mainly played on W2 and I really miss the World but from their perspective it just makes sense to remove a World that usually has 50-80 Players on it. Imagine you're new to Zaros and you log into a World with 50 Players active and lets say 4 of them in the Wilderness... My Ping is terrible on W1 but I got used to it. The shady thing is I can post this as a suggestion, but it keeps getting removed every time. The communication of staff about the removal is just shady. I don't want to play on this ping. The only reason I started playing Zaros with many EU players is because of world 2. Many left, after the removal of world 2, and so will I if they won't be transparrent about it or have an open discussion about it. Just seems shady, thanks for your kind and full answer! Totally agree. I loved playing and donated a couple times to help the servers stay up, suddenly the world gets removed and all those funds seem to go to waste. I couldn't care less about the 5m and the exp boost, since eco is fucked anyway and I was a realism iron man, untill the world 2 removal and I de-ironed. Thanks for your response! I understand that, but what message do you give other people logging into Zaros from EU while having to play on such ping and also people complaining about Staff team not giving answers or people getting muted from using autochat asking for people to post on a thread about world 2. What bothers me the most is that they don't say why and are very shady about it, which sucks imo. They think its a solution for increased player rate, yet it is a decrease. People leave anyway cuz this is an ironman/gamble server. If they don't see pkers they leave anyway. I don't see the problem of keeping a world where people can play on peacefully.
