This is something that could easily be done. I used a box-shadow to create a glow effect around the avatar. It could also be created using an image.
box-shadow: 0px 0px 5px 5px rgba(255,0,0,0.6);

Similar setup in the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), QA is essential before the roll out of a product. It would be nice to have these however it could be a position taken by moderators+ as having inside knowledge into potential updates can provide individuals or groups with an economic advantage, which would be a bit risky if we were to have public recognition of this QA group. @Setup, @Skills thoughts fellas?
Having community members being in the QA program is no less than someone being considered as a beta tester or content tester. These people would have knowledge of future updates, however this would not provide them with an economic advantage since Zaros is suppose to be 1:1 (or close) to OSRS.

The friend request failed. Do you have it turned off?
I do not.

Since Zaros is being ran under Ikov ownership, we can assume it will be somewhat similar to what Ikov has.

Do you have any experience when it comes to bug-testing:
Yes, I have play tested a few servers including (new) Soulsplit, Zenyte, and Turmoil.
How knowledgeable would you say you are when it comes to Runescape/Oldschool Runescape:
I would say I have an average understanding on how RS and OSRS mechanics work. I have played RS for close to 12 years, starting from 2006 to OSRS
Runescape username & total level:
Gameframe / 561
How do you feel you'd be useful in testing Zaros:
I feel as though I would make a great asset to help test the quality of life and bossing mechanics.
How many hours do you plan on spending per week on average testing:
I can average around 3 to 5 hours per day.
