  2. Good morning, Zaros! Today's update brings a bunch of QOL changes/additions, bug fixes, changes to doomsayer items, and some new achievement store rewards. Doomsayer Changes: The following item exchange values have been adjusted: Elysian sigil/spirit shield - 1,500,000 points Arcane sigil/spirit shield - 500,000 points Spectral sigil/spirit shield - 250,000 points The following items can now be exchanged for points: Parasitic egg, twisted horns, metamorphic dust, twisted ancestral colour kits, sanguine dust, sanguine ornament kit, holy ornament kit, viggora's chainmace, thammaron's sceptre, dragon chainbody, dragon crossbow, dragon platebody, imbued rings, black masks, amulet of fury, enhanced crystal teleport seed, and occult necklace. All enchanted sweet colors aside from blue have been changed to not delay combat attacks. We hope this will make other colors more desirable for use. Doomsayer's Book of the Dead: Can now be charged with blood runes (1:1 charge ratio) to provide free casts of thralls without the necessary runes. You must still be on the arceuus spellbook to utilize this and must still have prayer points for each spell. Sanctum tier requirement to obtain the book has been reduced to Tier 8 (chapel). Price remains the same. Golden branch: Available for 250,000 sanctum points. Used to upgrade magic secateurs, altering its color and granting an increased harvest yield of 20%. The new variant of secateurs can be stored in the farming tool storage. Doomsayer's tools can now be stored in clue stash units The heart of doom effect now lasts for 7 minutes (the entire length of the cooldown) Achievement Store: Added all tiers of Kandarin headgear. Current benefits are as follows: Tier 1 Functions as a light source Extra logs when cutting normal trees anywhere Tier 2 10% extra experience when cutting maple trees in seers village 5% higher yield from the catherby herb patch Tier 3 Thormac will enchant battlestaves for 75% of the original cost Unlimited teleports to sherlock 10% higher yield from the catherby herb patch 10% increase to the activation chance for the special effect from enchanted bolts (even in PvP). This bonus stacks additively with other bonuses like the Armadyl crossbow special attack. For example, if a bolt has a 10% chance of activating naturally, then after completing the hard diary the chance will become 11%. Must wear or have it in your inventory. Tier 4 Thormac will enchant battlestaves for 50% of the original cost 50% discount from Otto when converting Zamorakian spears into hastae 15% higher yield from the catherby herb patch Added all tiers of Varrock armour. Current benefits are as follows: Tier 1 10% chance of mining 2 ores at once up to gold 10% chance of smelting 2 bars at once up to steel when using the edgeville furnace Tier 2 10% chance of mining 2 ores at once up to mithril 10% chance of smelting 2 bars at once up to mithril when using the edgeville furnace Tier 3 10% chance of mining 2 ores at once up to adamantite 10% chance of smelting 2 bars at once up to adamantite when using the edgeville furnace Access to the cooks guild bank Tier 4 10% chance of mining 2 ores of any type at once 10% chance of smelting 2 bars of any type at once when using the edgeville furnace Acts as an alternative to the prospector jacket Minigames: Chambers of Xeric: Reworked the private storage inventory interface, allowing you to drag items around while it's open Reworked farming yield amounts to provide more consistent numbers around the intended average The time it takes to move a boulder in scavenger rooms now scales with your strength level (with a higher level taking less time to move it) Theatre of Blood: Pestilent Bloat: Pestilent bloat attack mechanics will no longer teleport lock you Fixed "loading line" in the pestilent bloat room Fixed the shroud shop not applying hard mode killcount to purchases Scythes and Sanguinesti staves no longer uncharge themselves during PvM deaths Inferno: Adjusted the delay between minions spawning and being able to initially attack you. Kingdoms of Miscellania: Once you have achieved 100 approval rating, a dialogue prompt will appear upon attempting to skill and let you know that you cannot earn anymore. Coal rocks will now respawn after 10 game ticks Wintertodt: You can now trade spare pyromancer gear pieces for burnt pages. Speak to ignisia. Set pieces (individual) - 50 pages Pyromancer set (boxed) - 250 pages Bruma torch - 50 pages Tome of fire (empty) - 250 pages Warm gloves - 50 pages Bosses/Monsters: Removed elite clue scrolls from level 49 catablepons drop table Corrected drop tables for all four types of brutal dragons Cave abominations no longer drop the imbued variant of black masks Capped special attacks of crazy and deranged archaeologist to the correct maximum hit Fixed cave horrors sometimes respawning inside walls. Fixed rockslugs blocking too much damage when nearing 10 hitpoints. Grotesque Guardians: Fixed an issue causing the noon pet to not drop at the correct rate Coporeal Beast: Sigils are now weighted like oldschool with spectral and arcane being much more common in the sigil table than elysian Holy elixir and spirit shields are now considered set rate/fixed items and will scale with your drop rate modifier Fixed dwarf multicannon damage being reduced twice (effectively making it 75% reduction of damage) instead of the intended 50% reduction Nightmare: Now pauses for 2 ticks before surging across the arena (after teleporting). Parasites will now take 25% longer to burst out of the player. Parasites will now heal nightmare/totems for 31-50 each attack instead of 51-100. Fixed grasping claws attack (during spores and flower poker) not ending immediately after killing the totems. Fixed mushroom spores not ending immediately after killing the totems. Nex: Made a potential fix to the ancient orb not respawning in public instances after fights. Fixed a rare occurance where nex would teleport to players that have left the instance. Abyssal Sire: Fixed respiratory systems healing slightly more than they should Respiratory systems now count as abyssal demons for the purpose of slayer damage bonuses and experience, but will not count towards your task killcount. Skills: Agility: You can now obtain clue scrolls from looting hallowed sepulchre coffins Construction: Removing a mounted amulet of glory will now return the amulet of glory to you Scorpia's offspring and corporeal critter are now storable in the POH Crafting: Amethyst can no longer be used on each other to prompt a crafting dialogue Farming: Calquat patches in Karamja can now properly be protected Fixed gardeners being at incorrect locations for hop and fruit tree patches Farming contracts now have proper level requirements added to them, as specified on the wiki page. Fishing: Fixed an issue allowing you to briefly equip another hand-slot item while your cormorant is out retrieving a fish Similar to motherlode mine, you can now trade in excess molch pearls for fishing and hunter experience. Talk to Alry the Angler to get started! Fixed all fishing spots surrounding prifddinas. The fish sack barrel now has a new option "fill" when equipped that will allow you to fill it with fish from your inventory without having to unequip the fish sack. Ultimate ironmen can now collected noted fish from their fish barrel/sack by using it on a banker or bank booth. Fixed barbarian fishing not prompting you that you do not have the required fishing level Magic: Fixed dawnbringer and sanguinesti staves sometimes not letting you cast a spell if your dynamic magic level fell below the required level to equip the staff. Fixed the magic dart spell not working on leafy monseters (turoths and kurasks) Thralls now utilize smart pathfinding and will path around objects to reach their target Mining: The infernal pickaxe smelting effect will no longer trigger on daeyalt essence. Slayer: Players with less than 20 defence will no longer be assigned cockatrice tasks Added the new task-only area for dust devils inside the smoke dungeon Added missing npcs from a recent OSRS update into the wilderness slayer cave. These are now in the slayer task pool from Krystilia. Abyssal demons (75-125) Dust Devils (75-125) Greater Nechryaels (75-125) Jellies (100-150) The killcount amount for the following tasks from Krystilia were adjusted: Fire Giants (75-125) from (100-150) Hill Giants (75-125) from (100-150) Smithing: Corrected the smithing level required to smelt dragonite ores (should be 95, not 98) Runecrafting: Removed locking delay just after crafting runes Items: Fixed the golden prospector set not counting in your collection log once upgraded Brimstone & Larran's Keys: Drop rate boost breakdown is now displayed in the Game Bonus Statistics interface Have received a flat 30% drop rate buff You can now use magic fang on an enchanted trident of the seas to upgrade it into toxic trident (e) Ferocious gloves will no longer split into hydra leather in a PvM death. Ornamental versions of amulet of fury, amulet of torture, necklace of anguish, and occult necklace are no longer tradeable. This has also fixed their death protection values not being equal to their non-ornamental variants. Other Changes/Fixes: Another ~21 unobtainable items have been removed from the collection log Marks of grace will now be added to your collection log upon obtaining them from rooftop courses A warning prompt has been added if you attempt to metamorph your golden chinchompa pet. This should allow players to safely spam the metamorph option until they get the golden chinchompa without having to worry about accidentally skipping it. The warriors guild cyclops room will now only check for the highest level defender from your inventory and equipment and not from your bank or the ground. This will allow players to more easily obtain lower tier defenders by not bringing any (for those who purchased a dragon defender and still need the lower ones for collection log). The warning for casting a teleport that leads to the wilderness can now be toggled in the settings interface. Players that have completed at least one corrupted gauntlet run and have challenging tasks enabled at the town board will no longer receive normal gauntlet tasks. Ironmen can now talk to Death at home to buy bloody crates for 20 blood money each. These crates contain a random amount of blighted potions and blighted spell sacks. Items purchased from the donator store (such as void), will now properly populate your collection log. This is not retroactive. If you have purchased something recently from the store and it has not populated in your log, message Hope#4103 on discord. Bank: Collapsing a tab that you are viewing will now bring you back to the main tab view Moving a tab to another position will now keep your view on that tab instead of changing it Fixed an issue causing a "blank" tab to appear or causing your items to shift around The number of reward permits you have used at tempoross is now properly shown in the collection log. Ancient emblems will now always be upgraded when completing a wilderness slayer task (whilst you have an emblem of tier 1-9 in your inventory) You can now dig immediately after killing a bandosian guard, armadyl guard, or zamorak wizard to progress your clue step. GIM icons have been changed to look more like the OSRS versions (preparation for GHCIM)

  6. This is how the item works on OSRS. If you want fish to automatically be added to your fish sack barrel you have to "open" it first. But yes, if you want to manually add fish from your inventory, you'll need to unequip it first.

  8. Good morning, everyone! Today's update adds exciting new content that grants players rewards in exchange for sinking rare PvM items. We've been brainstorming ways to implement a system like this for quite a while now and feel that this will not only improve the economy but also give veteran players another end-game goal to work towards. Doomsayer's Sanctum: A new and terrifying apocalyptic prophecy has become widespread news in the Kingdom of Misthalin! The return of Amascut (the god of destruction) will soon lay waste to the world. Citizens are frantic and are seeking shelter. The doomsayer has the perfect solution for such a sanctuary, but he needs your help! Visit the Doomsayer south of edgeville bank to get started. He will tell you about the prophecy and that he plans to build a sanctum to provide safe harbor to the frightened citizens. You are tasked with providing rare items to be stockpiled for the end of the world and in exchange, the Sanctum will be upgraded and you will receive points to spend on lucrative items the doomsayer has collected over the years. Exchange: Certain rare and unique items can be given to the doomsayer in exchange for sanctum points. Items cannot be retrieved or withdrawn once exchanged. Sanctum points can be spent: At the Doomsayer's reward shop. Cumulative sanctum points go towards the progression of Doomsayer's Sanctum (see below). The maximum sanctum points you can store is 25,000,000 Exchange-list: A full list containing exchange rates for all accepted items Sanctum-progress: The sanctum can be visually upgraded over time by earning cumulative points from the Doomsayer's Exchange. On this interface, you can find each tier and a description of what is upgraded. The amount of points needed to unlock the next tier are shown on the bottom right. Upgrades to the sanctum are based on cumulative points earned over the history of your exchanged items and none of your awarded points are actually spent. Rewards: Doomsayer's axe, pickaxe, and harpoon: Permanent and indestructible variants of infernal tools with increased efficiency. Comparable to crystal tools. Doomsayer's Incantations: Used to upgrade book of the dead, altering its color and allowing infinite spellbook swaps outside the Wilderness. Doomsayer's Heart: Used to upgrade imbued heart, altering its color and granting a permanent magic boost for 5 minutes (similar to divine potion effects) Fairy Mushroom: Allows remote access to fairy rings and spirit trees. Corporeal Basher: A consumable item that reduces all combat stats of Corporeal Beast by 70% Enchanted Sugar: Used at the candy machine to create enchanted sweets (see notes below on the Candy Machine) Extradimensional Bag: Similar to the looting bag, but can be used anywhere in the world. Stores up to 10 items. Only deleted on death if killed by a player. Doominion: A unique pet with 86 rating. Features the following unique perks: Demonic - 10% bonus damage to demons Berserker - Grants +0.20% Damage, +0.20% Accuracy, and -0.50% Defence for every 1 hitpoint missing (in PvM) These are the initial rewards we have came up with. More will be added in future updates. If you would like to suggest new rewards for the sanctum, please head on over to the suggestions section of our forums. A few things we do not want in this reward shop are: Game bonuses, items already in other shops (such as voting or the donator store), food, and potions. Other notable features of the sanctum: Candy Machine - Unlocked at tier 6 of the sanctum inside the kitchen, the candy machine allows players to combine purple sweets with enchanted sugar (sold in the sanctum reward shop) to obtain a random assortment of enchanted sweets that are all a variation of purple sweets with added effects. All enchanted sweets: Delay eating by 2 ticks instead of the normal 3 ticks (similar to karambwuans) Restore 10% run energy (except for yellow sweets which restore more) Heal 1-3 hitpoints (except for red sweets which heal more) Enchanted sweet variants: Red sweets - heal 3-5 hitpoints and do not delay attacks Blue sweets - restore 1-3 special attack energy White sweets - restore 1-3 prayer points Green sweets - Similar to guthix rests, removes 1 damage off poison. If a player has venom active, it will convert it down to poison. Black sweets - Adds +1 to all combat stats. Uses formulas from the following potions to determine the maximum amount these will restore up to: Attack, Strength, Defence - Super combat potions (5 + 15%) Range - Ranging potion (4 + 10%) Magic - Magic potion (+4) Orange sweets - Acts as a ring of recoil for 2 minutes Yellow - Restores 50% of run energy Cook - Shows up at tier 6 of the sanctum inside the kitchen Sells purple sweets at a reduced cost of 10,000 gp each Sells guthix rests (4) at a cost of 20,000 gp each New Player Title "Doomsayer": Unlocked by reaching tier 10 of the sanctum. New master achievement added for reaching tier 10. Minigames: Chambers of Xeric: Shamans are now properly cleared with the use of a room skip scroll Inferno: The golem perk on nib rek now works properly. Theatre of Blood: Fixed an issue causing players to be awarded with participation points even though they have no entered the boss fight. Fixed blood trails dealing too much damage when one or more crabs make it to maiden. Bosses/Monsters: Alchemical Hydra: Fixed an issue with auto-attacks not transitioning properly after 3 consecutive attacks of the same style. Dagannoth Kings: Rings are now scaled with each individual player's drop rate boost however to keep rings relevant and priced correctly, the base drop rates have been nerfed slightly compared to OSRS. You can expect a drop rate of around 1/70-1/85 for each ring compared to the previous 1/128. Bosses, minigames, and raids now have proper support for tertiary loot items. Clue scrolls, boss caskets, and other items intended to be tertiary are now dropped alongside the main loot. Check drop tables for bosses on the OSRS wiki to see other items that are marked as tertiary Since we have added proper support, players can no longer receive multiple unique drops from the main table in one kill/roll unless that boss has multiple loot rolls such as Zulrah, Gauntlet, or Hydra. Fire waves at the judge of yama can no longer be killed with recoils Fixed rock lobsters dropping too many elite clues Skills: Agility: Fixed viewport loading in the hallowed sepulchre. When doing runs on any floor, you should no longer receive 1-2 second pauses where the game loads new map data. Slayer: Added "Task Storage": Can be unlocked for one-time fee of 1,000 slayer points Players can store a task of their choice for 50 slayer points through the "Tasks" section of slayer rewards Once stored, you can unstore this task at any point provided you do not have a current slayer task assignment. You cannot use it to overwrite an existing stored task. Added the giants den cave extension to Kourend Dungeon Items: Added the leaf-bladed battleaxe accuracy and damage buff against turoths and kurasks Added equipment requirements to gilded d'hide pieces (except for chaps) Grubby keys and giant egg sac (full) can now be traded Modified item bonunses for a variety of high-tier weapons, as noted in the OSRS' poll 76 equipment rebalance changes Fixed nests being crushed by using them on each other Fixed issues causing variations of ornamental TOB items being tradeable. Fixed item value from ornamental type items not properly inheriting from the original item (such as painted twisted bows) Other Changes/Fixes: Pets can no longer be alched Entering the tournament lobby will now remove active vengeance spells Fixed the currency display not working properly in the top left hand corner of shop interfaces

  11. Good morning, everyone! This update focuses primarily on QOL changes and bug fixes but also features a highly requested piece of content by ironmen; Kingdom of Miscellania! Have a read over the notes below and let us know what you think. Zaros Bingo #2: An official in-game version of PvM bingo has been added. Participate for a chance to win up to $300 in donator scrolls. https://forum.zaros.io/topic/13364-zaros-pvm-bingo-2-300-in-prizes/ Kingdom of Miscellania: You can now utilize assets of the kingdom and send your subjects to work! Visit Advisor Ghrim in the kingdom castle to get started. The system follows closely 1:1 with OSRS, so more in-depth information can be found on the wiki page https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Managing_Miscellania minus a few custom changes, as noted below: Non-donators get access to 10 workers/subjects while donators ($10+) get access to 15 workers and access to etceteria resources (hardwoods and farming patch). Each "day" in the kingdom increments at exactly 0:00 UTC for everyone. A new pet "Sweeper" is rolled once you open the collection/rewards interface. The rate directly depends on the amount of days/rewards you have saved up, with longer streaks awarding a better chance for the pet. No unique perk currently 45 pet rating Collection Log Changes: We sat down and took the time to remove over 200 items in the collection log that couldn't be obtained. Items have either been individually removed from certain sections or instead you'll find entire sections removed altogether. Duplicate items (e.g. abyssal whip that is in both in the sire log and slayer log) are now part of the divisible count. Previously, only one of the items was considered to be part of the "total" possible items. As a result, some of you might have an increased completed count as the duplicates are now part of that number. The following sections have been added: Battle mages Skilling Outfits Added a new overview interface for the collection log based on a popular reddit suggestion thread. The interface will show your overall progress in each of the five collection log sections. Completing sections in your collection log will now once again announce to the entire server! The following sections WILL NOT announce: Bryophyta, Obor, Shooting Stars, Rooftop Agility, Motherlode Mine, Cyclopes (defenders), Chaos Druids, Pest Control, Fight Caves, and Inferno Evil chicken pieces will now properly count in your log. Minigames: Chambers of Xeric: You can now use alternative hammers (pet perk, dragon warhammer, ect) on jewelled crabs. Corrected Great Olm's damage modifier for automatic attacks. Previously it was combining states which made the damage slightly higher than it should be. Iron axes, Iron Pickaxes, and Lockpicks are now added to the supply chest during raids masses. Fixed the iron pickaxe spawn not working in the Guardians room. Tightrope: Added a slight 1 tick delay before you are first attacked when crossing the tightrope. Incoming impacts are now negated immediately after dispersing the barrier. Thralls will now grant you points from damage dealt. Theatre of Blood: Fixed blood spawns at maiden not clearing blood trails after death. Inferno: Jal Zek will no longer kill your thralls. Bosses/Monsters: Alchemical Hydra: Added new auto-attack phase transitioning animations. Vanstrom Klause: Added a quick "Fight" option to vanstrom in the lobby to skip dialogue. Skills: Magic: Fixed thralls causing issues in PvM combat relating to aggression and pjing. Mining: Salt rocks now give the proper amounts upon each successful mine. Gems received from mining (sapphire, emerald, ruby, diamond) are now more weighted versus all being the same rate (sapphire are now more common than the rest for example). Items: Fixed graceful capes being incorrectly recolored when selecting the "Agility arena" variant. You can now store abyssal whip variants in the draynor stash unit. Explorers Ring 1+ Added Hops patches Explorers Ring 2+ Added Bush patches Defence requirements have been removed for all blessed dragonhide chaps and bracers. Fixed defense requirement for dragon chain-bodies. Other Changes/Fixes: Guards in falador will no longer drop easy clues Using pets with presets will no longer remove placeholders in your bank for those pets. Fixed pets not being able to swap from following to the inventory and vice versa in certain presets. Holy owl can now be stored in the POH menagerie. Fixed ultimate ironmen not being able to withdraw noted gems from the gem bag. The "accept/cancel" buttons on the flower poker interface will now go into a 3 second "waiting" state once a bet has changed, preventing quick-action scams. Ironmen can now purchase items from Agumundi's Quality Clothes. Fixed miscellaneous time formatting for various items such as imbued heart cool-down, prospecting ores, and dragon-fire shield recharging. You can now search pets dropped by npcs in the drop table viewer. Players who boost our discord server and link their account through our website now have access to the purple skin color in-game. Please note: If you stop boosting, your purple skin color will be removed in-game.
  12. Cadantine seeds are rarer than irit and kwuarm seeds similar to OSRS.
  13. Daeyalt essence cannot be noted (like in OSRS). This makes using daeyalt essence challenging as a UIM but that's the mechanics of the mode.
  14. All pets can be stored in the POH with the exception of holy owl which has been fixed for next update.
  15. You already can store voting store pets in the menagerie. This was added 6 months ago.
  16. Bingo progress is stored on each individual account currently so this wouldn't be possible as a ranking page would need access to everyone's data all the time. Something to think about potentially implementing for a future bingo season assuming the event gains popularity.
  17. One of our beta testers brought this up in the past, but Slayer indirectly already has 20+ pets through the monsters and bosses you fight from tasks. There isn't really a good pet to put for the "skill" itself that isn't already portrayed through all bossing pets that exist.

  20. I think having random players poses an even bigger set of issues vs forming your own team. You wouldn't want your GIM team to be composed of random players, right?

We've currently opted out of team bingo for a few reasons, some being: It isn't fair for solo or new players to get outmatched by a few teams that are online 24/7, especially those in a clan that are highly efficient (standalone). We want to avoid another GIM fiasco of teams requesting to have members removed for inactivity or swapped out with another player. Administrators are already overwhelmed with GIM related requests and there were a handful of team issues with the 1st staff hosted bingo. It's something we can brainstorm more about in the future, but for now we wanted to start out with a few solos.
