I personally agree, some money sinks are little bit too wild for me aswell.

As of right now when you die with a kraken tentacle out of wilderness you automatically lose your whip. Perhaps make it a little more forgiving by losing 50% of your current charges?

Try going into https://zaros.io/ store and contacting a live member there. I'm not sure how happy they are if you contact them with this kind of a issue, but i hope this helps.

I've seen if you wait enough and let the game process all the bough/aborted items have spawned back to my inventory. Hopefully your item respawns

Compared to the slayer casket loot and rarity i don't think crystal keys are worth using at all, perhaps buff it a bit so opening one would feel more rewarding?
