  1. It could be useful if a bunch of people create their own skill guides for the same skill, but say one is more comprehensive than the others and is the "go to" guide for that skill so it can be placed here. I guess we'll see how well the forums and main game are balanced out when it releases! I love the effort that went into the layout for this directory!

It's the same developers aswell, Com2us. I made £1700 from IMO: The world of magic and then probably another £300 over time. The Devs don't stop it aswell because the games completely run people who spend £20,000 on an army of accounts and just control bosses and turn in for profit. One family is making 800m a month which 1m is $8-9. Pretty crazy

That's pretty nuts dude. The ways people think of making money in these games is nothing short of amazing lol

As in a road to Tbow's value in cash? Interesting, I think a road to max cash would probably be better.

Road to max cash would be pretty good as long as it means something on this server haha! If max cash is too low (like on Ikov) then I'd love to see a max platinum token stack or whatever the higher-value gamblers currency is on here!

Yeah and I made some serious money off IMO aswell hahahha

The black market for this game is crazy, I started getting heavily involved in it after I sold my G3 main last summer and made some decent coin flipping other double or triple LD accounts (latest one I sold was Yeonhong, Leona, Nigong, C3 RTA). Honestly it's a great way to make money off of the game if you don't enjoy playing it that much anymore but still have so much knowledge about what constitutes a good account.

I think the black market has kept people playing longer than they would have without it, just like I believe is the case for Runescape over the years. These games are much closer to businesses than hobbies ?

It's not so much the complication but rather the time it takes to grow a crop, then if you forget about it, it dies. ? Isn't so bad with the new plugins that runelite offers, would absolutely love to bag myself the pet as well, one of my favourites.

I'm talking about complications on the developers side, because I've never seen it implemented as well as other skills so there's gotta be something in there that's stumping developers no? On Ikov you can encounter some really puzzling bugs quite commonly in farming, and I keep mentioning that server because I'm pretty sure that's the only one I'm allowed to make reference to without breaking the rules lol, but yes I notice bugs with the timing, but also the patches themselves commonly end up bugged/unusable or with visual glitches

I like the concept but I believe they would only do that for Staff Members. I could be wrong though. As for the reputation, I'm not a big fan. I'd rather see you get like Bronze Armour, Dragon, Partyhats, etc. depending on your post count.

I would personally love like a shaded background depending on your dontator rank to go around your profile picture on the forums. I think it looks amazing and makes the forums seem a bit more appealing. So for example non donators would just be blank like the above, but normal donators would have  a nice red around the profile picture ect ect depending on your donator rank.

Furthermore I think you should have a title which is default depending on the amount of rep you have. So instead of 'Members' if I had say 500-1000 Reputation it could say 'Rep God' then say after 1500 you could customise it.

    What are your thoughts?

You both kind of have the same idea for the rep count with different ways of representing that count. I support either one as long as it acknowledges people who are more active on the forums and differentiates them from people who are not. Whether it's a symbol/badge, or a title that almost all forums have for increasing post count. I do like the idea of these partyhats, bronze armor, or whatever being used as badges to show your post count progress. Very cool idea!

    • Hope we can get this ingame.
    • I seriously cannot go back to not having this feature.

Is this like being able to switch what kind of instance you're using tokens for as long as you have time remaining in the instance?

Farming, every RSPS I've ever played I always leave that 99 until last it's just annoying lol. Plus most RSPS i've played farming is never properly coded.

Exactly, I haven't played an RSPS yet that hasn't had buggy coding with farming. I guess something about it is more complicated than other skills? I'm not sure, but I know that I've ran into problems on every server I've played, especially Ikov with the buggy patches that sometimes would be impossible to clear without an admin completely fixing your account after days only to have it happen again almost immediately after lol.

Oh, well from a business point of view the gap between $1,000 & $5,000 may not be the smartest move if I may say.

Because if you have for example $2,500 between there someone might get that instead of the $1,000 meanwhile the $5,000 is so far away they might not even bother.

What about buying bonds in-game then? Well you'll need a ridiculous amount of wealth to jump $4,000 in-game as well which means that really nobody can afford it with in-game money or even wants to spend that much which means they will most likely remain stuck at $1,000 and not buy more bonds from that point forward meaning that bonds won't be as high in demand which means the price won't be too good when you compare donating & what you receive in return which won't attract people to donate. Yes, I realize that if the demand falls the price falls and then people might buy them in-game and they will rise a little again & so on (hard to predict exactly what happens but I still think the gap is bad for both the players & Owners that are trying to make money with this game as a business)

I could be wrong though and I'm sure you guys know what you're doing anyway but please do take this into consideration if not from the players point of view then at least have a bit of self interest ?

It seems that way, but nah, people will get to it in the first week. Just wait and see lol! Ikov has a ridiculous amount of ubers ($5K), and some have multiple accounts as uber as well, so I know there's no worries with the jump from 1-5k. Uber benefits are usually broken too, so there will be motivation to get it.

Edit: Don't forgot you don't have to literally buy $5k in scrolls, you can buy $500 at a time and resell for probably half (or around there) your money back. Rarely do people go straight for buying $5k in scrolls. It's buy some, resell items, buy some more, resell items. Poco a poco, step by step.

Didn't know half of these effects, struggling to see the point of 99 atk giving you free access to warriors guild, by that point you've surely got yourself the defender, if not multiple

Exactly, I really wish they'd revamp some effects

  11. Honestly depends on the server. I found some servers were awful for some skills simply because of the way they were coded in, but the skill itself wasn't bad in OSRS. If we're strictly talking OSRS then yes I hate RC, fishing is super boring and all other afk skills for that matter. I do enjoy hunter generally, agility is fun, and... ya that's probably it lol

  12. I'll put this as a placeholder for now, but I'm thinking about opening an "OSRS" cc (it will literally be called OSRS) for those of you who primarily play OSRS and want to connect with others who do as well. As of yet, there's no current category for the clan other than a friendly community to meet and interact with other people who you could potentially be playing with here and on OSRS.

Open to suggestions for all aspects of the clan such as: what you'd like to see us doing on Zaros primarily (i.e. PvM, PvP, mainly raids, skilling/casual, etc.), what you think the ranking system could look like, and of course let me know if it's a community that you'd like to be a part of in some capacity.

    Cheers!

  13. I wonder if there will be master capes that hold all of the skill perks for that related skill, or if the 99 capes will have perks. On Ikov they made it so that 200m/500m capes had perks while 99 capes had none, but it was also incredibly easy to level skills when you had effigies and other things to level faster. Mainly effigies were broken though.
