Yea I was shocked that the ipad version had so much to offer in the way of creating structures now. There are multiple different types of materials that weren't there when I first made the purchase from the app store years ago

Clearly the developers care about their game! I've watched some very interesting content on YouTube of these weird speed running challenges while the speed runner gets hunted by another player or multiple players, and one of the challenges had the founder of Minecraft as the person trying to speed run to the end or to see if he gets hunted down. Really interesting stuff!?

EDIT: OOPS didn't realize I forgot the link. The guy's name is "Dream" and this is a video:

  2. Welcome to Zaros! Although I disagree with you slightly about forums since I do get a lot of enjoyment out of em still, I hope you enjoy your stay (probably more in the Discord lol) ?

I play occasionally on iPad as a last resort when I’m really bored, strictly on building mode only though. My current project is some sort of house built into the side of a mountain, only has a couple rooms and a balcony at the min ?

It satisfies the inner creative urge when I need to do something for 30 minutes or even an hour to relax in peace lol

  4. What has got you itching to get back into the theater in spite of Covid-19? For me, in the short-term it's "Tenet" and "Black Widow" but in the longer term it's "Doctor Strange 2" and literally any Christopher Nolan movie that follows Tenet lol

  5. Let's get a decent list going for the people that like to browse other recommendations before committing to a series. For myself, this is the list I can come up with and it's pretty varied in show types:

    - Rick and Morty

    - Final Space

    - Breaking Bad

    - Better Call Saul

    - Hannibal

    - Law and Order SVU (guilty pleasure baby!)

    - Criminal Minds

    - Live PD

    - South Park (preferably before season 12, or within the last few seasons)

    - Two and a Half Men

    - Virgin River

    - Dexter

There's tons more that I'm forgetting right now, but let me know your lists and don't leave anything out even if it's been mentioned already. It might help someone to see the same show pop up in a list multiple times?

  6. Who plays? I played years ago with my buds when it first came out and we had a blast building a little private server together. Recently one of those same buddies found out that Minecraft is loaded with so much more customization these days, so we decided to do the same thing again on another world except it's so much more fun this time. Not to mention we were using the Xbox 360 version before and now we are using the PC version so even without the updates it's a world of difference for us to be in these infinite worlds that PC has had while consoles has not (as far as I know).

Anyway, lemme know who plays, when you started and if you play on a big or small/public or private server!

I typed in atlas.ps (the best server I've played in 15 years) to see if it was still alive and it brought me here.

If Atlas brings in so many players then I hope that Zaros keeps many of the good aspects of Atlas

I've followed @Hope (more specifically, Splinter, who sadly doesn't seem to be on the development team) through many of their past projects as the content simply could not be comparable to any of the other competing RSPSs out there. It changed the game when it came to your typical buggy RSPS developed servers versus the flawless content him and the rest of the team was producing on their project(s). Since there are a lot of code bases being thrown out there now-days, it's a little less rare, but it was quite unique back in 2014-2015 when I first stumbled across Arios.

tldr; I have followed wherever Hope & Splinter have gone in the past, the most recently closed project being Atlas.

Solid bro! You've got me all excited to see the work Hope has done with the rest of the team of course. I'm pumped!

  9. If someone brought you here, shout em out! I'm interested to know where everyone is coming from. I know quite a few are from Atlas and heard about this because of the developers involved, and I'm sure a bunch are from Ikov too, like myself. Let's hear it!

  10. Main RSN: Cox

    Timezone: EDT (UTC-04:00)

Do you agree to the rules stated on this thread?: Yes

How did you find us?: Forums

What is your favorite boss?: Skotizo for overall average loot, Zulrah for the uniques (I love seeing a tanz fang/serp on the ground)

Additional Information: I mainly try to skill efficiently and PvM in between to keep things exciting. My first and main goal is always to max/comp, and generally I will do PvM that helps with leveling slayer only until I'm maxed, or I will PvM for specific skilling tools/supplies to level more efficiently. After I'm maxed I love to challenge myself with all of the PvM content from inferno to raids. I'm really excited to get into PvMing on Zaros though because I know that every unique drop in that first while will be a huge advantage and I'd like to help Infinity CC get some of those first announced drops!

Have you played any other rsps or osrs and if so what were your usernames? I've played RS since 2004 on and off. My IGN that I used until 2012 was various forms of "Muddy", "Muddy Buddy", "Mudz", etc. I played very, very little OSRS even though it's from a time that I enjoyed Runescape the most. I just couldn't rediscover that sense of magic that I felt in actual 2007 Runescape. Anyway, years later I tried other custom RSPS and really enjoyed their uniqueness until inevitably they got a little stale or too "out there". I discovered Ikov and fell in love with the Runescape experience again. I have much less free time than when I was younger, so it's really nice to have those boosted rates on RSPS but still get that wholesome Runescape experience. I'm sure this server will be something incredible with the team that's behind it and I'm so excited to get in there and experience it!

EDIT: OOPS! Forgot to include that my names on Ikov were: Nips, More Nips, Nipsy, Iron Nips, etc. I had (and still have) a fascination with the Elite Ironman Mode there lol!

    Exp/exp is love has arrived

Ready to go full alkan mode here goodluck to all the individual people competing ?

Hoping the openingsday will be announced a few days prio to it... i need to fix a week off at the min for this shiz

LOL! That's the spirit! I'm definitely going to need a clear week to play this without interruptions, and that's most likely only happening before September. Here's to hoping the timeline is not delayed at all!

This is my point, they need to be pillars of the community to ensure that this doesn't happen. I do support the overall concept of QA roles being offset to the community as this saves money & also provides a personal touch to the content released.

Maybe to alleviate concerns, if they are to qualify for the QA role they should also be able to qualify for the server support role. A lot of the requirements could be shared between the 2 roles but of course with different ways of directly assisting in the server's maintenance and growth?
